INGREDIENTS:2lb Ground chuck or ground turkey
1/4 cup Canned sliced black olices (drain and rinse them)
1/4 cup Red Onion, medium chopped
1/4 cup Green bell pepper, medium chopped
1/2 cup Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Large Egg, beaten
Salt and Fresh ground pepper
Canola Oil
Optional: Cheese and onion slices for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, olives, onions, bell pepper, cheese and egg. Mix well and set aside for 30 minutes or refigerate for later use.
- When ready to cook, light EZ Grill
- Separate burger mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into patties or use the EZ Press N' Grill for mess free burger making.
- Season the burger patties liberally with the salt and pepper just before time to grill and press into the meat.
- Brush both sides of the patties lightly with canola oil.
- Grill on the EZ Grill for 12 to 16 minutes depending on the desired doneness and ensure to flip halfway through the cooking process.
- Add cheese during the last minute of cooking if desired.
- Add onion slice if desired and your favorite condiments and toppings.
