Try These Tasty Recipes Cooked on the EZ Grill

MOTHERS DAY SALMON - EZ GRILL STYLE

MOTHERS DAY SALMON - EZ GRILL STYLE INGREDIENTS:
  • Favorite piece of salmon about 1 inch thick. (Size depends on length of grill and foil). 
  • 1 lemon,  ½ lemon should be thinly sliced, the other half save for juice
  • ½ tspn salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of minced thyme
  • ¼  cup of white wine
  • 2 teaspons capers (or more to taste)
  • Olive oil.

DIRECTIONS:

Light EZ Grill

Brush both sides of salmon with olive oil and season with the salt and pepper. 

Place on a piece of foil that is large enough to cover the sides and create a tight parcel when  closed.

Squeeze half the lemon on top.

Add Thyme, white wine and capers.

Add thinly sliced pieces of lemon on top.

Close foil up leaving room inside for the heat to circulate.

Once the flames have died down on the EZ Grill, you are ready to place the foil on the grill. 

Salmon should take between 10 and 15 minutes.  Check after 10 minutes and if longer time is needed, ensure there is a little liquid left in the foil.  If not, add a little more wine.

Check to see when the salmon flakes easily but is still moist. 

Serve with a crisp salad or make a grilled Romaine Lettuce salad (see our recipe)
