INGREDIENTS:2lbs Cound Chuck (preferably 80% lean)
5oz Garlic and Herb Gournay Cheese (such as Boursin)
1/4 cup Shallot - minced
Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Canola Oil
DIRECTIONS:
- In a large bowl, combine ground chuck and minced shallot.
- Mix Well and then set aside or refridgerate for use later.
- Allow cheese to come to room temperature.
- Use your EZ Press n Grill to make 6 x 1/2 inch patties or shape by hand being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Light your EZ Grill!
- Now put a small portion of cheese in the center of each of the patties and top with another patty but pressing the edges together to seal.
- Season burgers with the salt and pepper and brush lightly with canola oil just before grilling.
- Grill for 12 to 16 minutes depending on desired doneness and flip the burgers once halfway through the cooking process.
- As the cheese melts, it may ooze out - but you won't have to worry about cheese clean up if you are using an EZ Grill.
- Serve once cooked serve with a selection of your favorite conitments and a great bun!
