Burgers or a full meal with dessert - EZ Grill way!

EZ Grill counts the calories….. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, many of us are in a panic about the amount of calories we are about to consume.  With all the wonderful foods that we cook up over Thanksgiving – most Americans consume around 5000 calories!   (That’s about 9 Big Macs or 33 Twinkies in just one sitting.)

Rather than worry about your day of indulgence, prepare yourself in advance by eating well.  The EZ Grill is an inexpensive way to grill up your favorite dishes, adding great flavor while lowering calories.

300 calories may get you 2 biscuits and ¾ cup of gravy or perhaps you could fill up on 2 burgers ……….why not try a flavorful and balanced meal with dessert and cocktail for only 268 calories.

Love chicken?  Try delicious charbroiled chicken on the grill with your favorite natural salsa.  Average calories for a 4oz grilled serving of chicken is 110 calories with only 1g of fat but 25g of protein.  Adding salsa increases it to only 10 calories for 2 tablespoons.  Try this out on your next Tailgate or family lunch or dinner.

Don’t forget to add some grilled Asparagus on the grill.  At 23 calories for 5 spears (2.5 grams of protein), you can afford to enjoy your grilled veggies.

Add a large salad Asian dressing.   Our basic salad calorie count is based on lettuce, tomato, cucumber, radishes, and pepper (and just 2 tablespoons of dressing).  Salsa is based on making your own salsa  with tomatoes, onions, garlic, jalapeno peppers, lime juice and cilantro or purchasing low calorie store bought.

I personally love Shrimp on the Grill.  Add some fresh garlic and marinate in a tablespoon of olive oil and throw on your EZ Grill.  12 medium shrimp are only 102 calories and have whopping 27 grams of protein!
