Yes, you heard me correctly; tickets for the XLVI Super Bowl are selling (if you can still buy them) from between $2,200 to $20,000 per seat. Those taking their RV to Indianapolis can expect to add on a $400 price tag for parking. At least they party with like-minded fans despite having a 20 minute walk to the Stadium. Luckily our grills only cost between $5 and $10 so it is easy to take a dozen EZ Grills with you. Just think how quickly you can set up and clean up but still have 1.5 hours of grilling time.
On Sunday, February 5th, 2012 the next Super Bowl XLVI will take place in Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis. Kick off is scheduled for 6.30pm (E), 5.30pm (C) 4.30pm (M), 3.30pm (PST). The Indiana Stadium normally seats 63,000 but they have (quite wisely) increased it to be able to hold 70,000.
For those of you who can’t afford those big-ticket prices, you can watch the game on NBC. Favorites to play right now are the Green Bay Packers and the New England Patriots. Did you see our YouTube video – our 2011 predication worked? Will the Packers play this year?
If Super Bowl isn’t for you, invite a group of friends to your home, put on NBC and wait for the commercials. You won’t see EZ Grill spending $3.5M for Super Bowl advertising play time but we certainly love to watch the creative 30 second commercials.
