INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- ¾ cup dry red wine
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped peeled fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 14- to 16-ounce pork tenderloins
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oil in heavy medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and sugar. Sauté until onion is golden, about 6 minutes. Mix in wine and next 5 ingredients. Cook 1 minute longer. Remove from heat.
Place pork tenderloins in a casserole or roasting pan. Pour sauce over pork. Marinate at least one hour, overnight if possible. Cover and refrigerate.
Remove from marinade, and grill until temperature reaches 160°F.
